Brahma Therapeutics was formed around a de novo peptide-engineering platform and the opportunity to translate foundational academic technologies into a biotechnology company.

Michael's role
Founder & Chief Scientist. Michael negotiated foundational licenses, defined the platform and development strategy, and built the scientific operation from concept through proof of concept.
Outcome
Brahma was positioned for and reached a strategic acquisition outcome in May 2023.

Michael's role
Interim CSO/CBO through Attenuated Technologies. Michael leads scientific development, operating coordination, corporate strategy, business-development support, and AI strategy.
Outcome
Selected for the 2025 C10/LabCentral AI-BioHub cohort. Michael created the application and pitch materials used during the program.

CREATE Medicines, formerly Myeloid Therapeutics, is a clinical-stage biotechnology company advancing in vivo CAR programs through first-in-human development.

Michael's role
Senior Director, Translational Science. Michael led biomarker strategy and translational execution for MT302 and directed cross-functional startup of multinational Phase I program MT303.
Outcome
Michael's translational work supported full enrollment of MT302 in under 12 months. MT303 expanded the clinical pipeline and international operating footprint.

SEngine Precision Medicine

SEngine developed a functional precision-oncology platform intended to move from assay development into a CLIA-certified clinical diagnostic service.

Michael's role
Lead Scientist, then Principal Scientist. Michael built the CLIA-certified P.A.R.I.S. test and later supported its physician-facing clinical implementation and broader company development.
Outcome
Michael developed personalized drug panels for more than 100 cancer patients and supported an approximately $9 million financing through financial analysis, valuation work, diligence materials, and company presentations. The CEO led the financing.
